Zassō

Zassō is a taiko performance project that focuses on playing with our whole selves, perfect in our imperfections, right now, without conforming to any preconceptions of what the result will look and sound like, breaking barriers of audience perception, showing up in the most unexpected places, and reaching into our sense of purpose, deeply rooted in the land.

The logistics of getting creative and un-bound individuals together in one place at the same time can be tricky, but we’re resilient, bright and tenacious, and we focus on what we can do right here, right now…it’s the only thing we can do. There are plans for the future, but they are ever-changing.
