It's time to learn from someone else! Chris Sanson has been playing taiko for years, and has been teaching it at his school and another in Exeter, sharing his passion for and skill with taiko, and his taiko groups have performed many times locally. Chris is excited to share a piece he and his group have created, which promises to be full of fun, energy and lots of creative expression!

We always get asked if we can run sessions for small people, and we just can’t say no any longer! Taiko drumming can be physically overwhelming for this younger age group if it’s constant drumming, and this is such an important age to re-assure their fundamental musical skills, and so we’ve created a special session that includes rhythm, song and musical discovery. We know that small people just love to drum. If this sounds like a small person you know, come along and join the fun!
